"He-Man and the Masters of the Universe was probably my first major pop culture experience as a kid. Of course I watched and loved the cartoon, but I spent countless hours playing with the toys, inventing my own stories along the way. So many hours, in fact, that when I envision my childhood home, it usually appears first in my mind's eye as a blurred background behind Battle Armor Skeletor!

When the opportunity arose to design a print for MotU, I was thrilled! I set out to pay homage to both the Funimation cartoon and the mini-comics that came with the toys. The top-notch crew at Mama's Sauce shared that vision and brought it to life with me!" -Tim Anderson
